Like many dealers, Pamela Erbe began selling antiques after many
years of collecting--and buying from BAM when it was Wrigleyville--left
her with alarmingly-dwindling space in her city condo. Pamela's main
collecting passions are art pottery and vintage holiday items, and these
have become her dealer specialties.

She says, "I want to introduce collectors to art pottery that
is new to them. Everyone knows about Roseville and McCoy, but not
so many know of some of the great European makers, like the Danish
manufacturers Ipsen, Hjorth and Michael Anderson, the French Meternier,
and the English Bretby and Danesby." Pamela strives to offer
these pieces and a wide range of other pottery--from the always-popular
Arts & Crafts pieces to mid-century modern to some wonderful 1970s
American pottery.
Pamela has been selling at BAM for a year a half. When she isn't
searching for bargains, she is the managing editor at a Chicago ad
agency and the co-founder and Web site editor of a national dog rescue
organization, Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society.
